Green for go at ALBERTO Golf
Take it and love it
The leitmotiv of the new season: multicolour! Whether monochrome or boldly mixed: the sun will bring a splash of colour back to the golf course. This time the range of colours is as wide as a Pantone fan. The blues in particularly are now refreshing simple. Whether royal blue, azure, Oxford blue, navy or midnight blue - these new watercolours are currently the most popular fashion shades. Supplemented by graphic stripes, checks, dots and fancy prints, the result is an interplay of colours that is both a fashion statement and a lift for the spirits. Anyone who prefers more discreet colours can enhance the understated colours with a casual look. Here too, ALBERTO has a couple of innovations in store. The golf pants made of light cotton gabardine do not present the clean, classic appearance typical of other functional fabrics. In basic shades such as khaki, grey, beige and marine, these chinos get their special effects from garment-dyeing, and their unmistakable look and feel give them an exceptional air of casual confidence - an effect intensified many times over with summer stripes. ALBERTO's success formula for Bermudas is "short and good". New: one of these Cooler models has a patched waistband and pocket openings. Other hot new items include the drawcord pants now being seen the range thanks to ALBERTO Golf. Made of very clean, fine, dressy fabric, these upmarket jogging pants score points with their light summery weight and their cool sportswear attitude. Especially when interpreted in brilliant functional fabrics such as Cooler and Ceramica.Weather? Who cares!
Speaking of functions and Ceramica: this is another area in which ALBERTO is bringing out first-rate innovations. These golfing pants were always masterpieces, containing clay minerals that reflect harmful UV rays and providing optimum protection from excess exposure to sunshine, and they have now shed a lot of their weight. This is true of both the Ceramica Gabardine version and its next generation, Ceramica Super Light. If they didn't look so good, you could actually forget that you're wearing pants. Particularly as an extra stretch component has now been added to Ceramica Super Light. This now means 360° freedom of movement without losing any of the shape or the familiar Ceramica features. Just to remind you, these include breathability, skin friendliness and the ability to balance temperatures by up to 5 degrees in each direction. ALBERTO Golf's 3 x Dry Cooler also promise a burst of extra freshness. For this, these intelligent golf pants combine no less than two intelligent technologies: firstly the water and dirt-repellent finish on the outside and secondly the rapid transport of moisture from the inside. This unusual combination not only keeps the pants pleasantly cool; 3 x Dry Cooler has also long since banished any unpleasant chills between or after the active phases. In terms of function, Water Repellent pants are also up to every trick. Unlike the other summer models from ALBERTO Golf, Water Repellent pants are always worn when rain clouds are looming. After all, these golf pants repel water and dirt with their special surface which allows raindrops simply to roll off. Guaranteed. And all this with maximum breathability and wearer comfort. When the sun comes out again, these pants with their high-tech polyamide fabric afford reliable protection from harmful UV radiation. Not without reason are Water Repellent pants some of ALBERTO's best-selling models. As always, the perfect ALBERTO golf outfit is rounded off by a wide range of functional shirts and attractive belts, all matching the stylish pants designs. Shirts and pants are available in sizes S to XXXL. Belt lengths range from 80 cm to 115 cm.
In 2004, a plane took off for the USA - and with it the success story of ALBERTO's Gold collection. On board: managing directors Georg Walendy and Marco Lanowy. In their luggage: numerous ideas for a modern, creative golf collection. In the States, Walendy and Lanowy were awaited by professional golfer Alex Cejka, who at that time was attracting attention because he preferred to wear ALBERTO pants on the green rather than golf pants. His enthusiasm about these pants became the foundation of a promising partnership with the men's fashion label, and ALBERTO took on the challenge of revitalising the men's sportswear market. The years of fashion competence, and even more the development and use of innovative materials, gave rise to a unique golfwear collection that has conquered the market with striking designs, perfect cuts and brand-new functions. The label is now thoroughly established - golfers are familiar with the functional, expressively fashionable golf pants and shirts from Mönchengladbach.
