ALBERTO collection winter 2018
Jump: Pants way up high
Smart Dressy
It’s the always contemporary and stylish combination of modern design, refined details, high quality and unbeatable fit that makes the ALBERTO Smart Dressy range a real highlight in the classy menswear area. During the winter season, grey glen checks in flannel look and multicoloured sewn-on stretch band alternate with plain jersey pants in earth tones and Ceramica models in a knit look. Another highlight of the collection is the flannel styles, which are sometimes shown in plain colours with slim pleats, a denim label and decorative stitching on the back pockets, sometimes with a wide range of check patterns. Soft wool flannels with tweed designs, various checks, herringbone patterns and retro pinstriped stripes create a striking look, while the cropped trousers with their belt loops that extend over the waistband, the shortened leg length and the fixed envelopes as a woollen version are still a hot topic in the cold season.Corduroy
The return of a classic! Corduroy is an absolutely trendy theme at ALBERTO next winter. Not only a series of fine bi-coloured 5-pocket fine corduroy styles in six different colours, but also a particularly luxurious 9-rib wide corduroy model with fine pleats, available in either cropped or regular length. Another highlight: elegant, wide-corduroy pants in regular slim-fit with sophisticated French pockets.Cotton
Perfect cut meets the finest fabric qualities and lovingly designed details: the cotton styles by ALBERTO are fashionable as well. For example, satin-finished, ultra-elastic gabardine models with clean colours and discreet trims on the waistband and pockets are an additional boost to the Superfit theme. In addition, trousers in a traditional wool look don't just rely on an extra-light look and feel, but also on a variety of mini designs such as checks, Pepita, herringbone and classic salt & pepper. For the sake of a particularly pure look, ALBERTO refrains from rough washing and treatments.Denim
Jeans for every situation - the ALBERTO denim segment presents itself in a variety of ways. In addition to coloured styles in muted tones and subtle trimmings, as well as fancy denims with mini-check and herringbone all-over texture prints, the trouser makers from Mönchengladbach also show a wide range of dynamic superfits that are equipped with at least 30 percent elasticity and memory and score with sometimes triple overstaining. There is also a range of grey and blue coated models. Brand new in the range: Cosy jeans made of extra soft jersey. Also fresh in the range is an extensive vintage denim line in blue or blue / black colouration with discreet destroyed and repair elements, contrast washes and elaborate buttons and studs. Or the heavy red selvedge pieces in either pure raw, a very light wash and an extra-aggressive moonwash.Premium Business Jeans
The fact that denim has long since quite rightly come into its own in everyday business life is once again demonstrated by the styles in the premium business jeans collection. For the winter of 2018, superfine and extremely dense cashmere, Superfit, lyocell and compact quality trousers in deep black and anthracite will find a perfect fit and extremely gentle washings. The finest details such as safety pockets and elaborately crafted interiors with paisley prints complete the noble look and catapult ALBERTO to lonely heights.NEW: Urban Traveller
They have to be comfortable, but also style-conscious, functional and natural fit - frequent travellers have particularly high requirements for their favourite trousers. These are requirements that ALBERTO now fully complies with in its brand new 'Urban Traveller' range. The range includes a total of three denim styles equipped with safety pockets for credit cards, buttoned ticket pockets and hidden inside back pockets, which can be worn in casual lyocell, elastic bi-stretch or warm and extra-soft Dyneema denim. The new range is complemented by lightweight, narrow-cut slacks made of breathable, warm and windproof jersey fabric, which is finished with contrasting piping and side stripes as well as piping on the waistband.Trousers for adventurers
On the bike through the city or on foot through the undergrowth - the ALBERTO sports trousers for bikers and hikers have long been part of the standard equipment of any outdoor enthusiast. For the Winter 2018 season, the Mönchengladbach trouser experts once again prove, with their revised classics and brand-new styles, that function and stylistic correctness can complement each other perfectly.Hiking
Strikingly casual through the woods and the city - highly functional tech trousers from the ALBERTO Sports Hiking collection make hiking even more fun. For the 2018 winter season, the label has brought out a range of trousers that once again leaves nothing to be desired. The Superfit Broken Twill 'Hike' in Navy, Beige and Military is back in action. The heat-regulating and dirt-repellent 3xDry Cooler is an absolute all-rounder and available in a redesigned version with more storage space as 'Trekk' and 'Hill'. In terms of colour, everything revolves around muted, autumnal tones. The 100% waterproof, windproof and breathable rain & wind fighters are the perfect pants for extra cold outdoor winter days and are available as 'Trekk' and 'Hill'.Bike
Whether on the long haul or on the way to the office - the styles from the ALBERTO bike collection not only meet the highest functional requirements, but also score points with their exceptionally stylish look. For the winter of 2018, the Mönchengladbach design house presents a rear higher cut Superfit Broken Twill Chino with reflectors on the rear belt loops and the inner hem, silicone anti-slip band in the waistband and refined terry pockets, available in beige, navy and military. The 3xDry Cooler models have long since advanced to become must-haves in the bike scene. And not without reason. After all, thanks to the combination of a heat-regulating and dirt-repellent surface, a higher waistband at the back and reflectors on the hems and belt loops, they’re a real all-round carefree package on every terrain. They're available in 'Bike' and - brand new - as 'Hill' with zipped pocket on the right leg, rubberised buttons and Amaretta inserts instead of silicone bands at the waistband. Also brand new: a bike pants made of compact Ecorepel denim with a water-repellent finish. The mix of the rough denim look and sophisticated tech details sets it apart - the bi-stretch dual FX denims in slim-fit fit come with a high cut waistband and reflectors on hems and belt loops in a dark rinse wash as 'Speed'. A real highlight among the bike jeans is the new Superfit Softwear denim. The highly elastic fabric is roughened inside, which ensures a warming effect. As 'Bike', the pants are available in either indigo or black with subtle stone wash or light scrappings for a casual look. Super durable, yet lightweight and stretchy - no problem for the all-new super-fit denim from highly technical Dyneema® fibres. Next season, the pants are available in bleached indigo and black vintage looks, adorned with buffies and scappings, as 'Bike' and 'Speed'.Shades of Winter
ALBERTO is focusing entirely on harmonious, muted colours and thus on the dark side of winter. Petrol blue, anthracite, grey and navy meet brown, green, black, tobacco and ochre. Pistachio and a bright shade of blue provide charming contrasts.Belts
Good trousers sit well, even without aids. Even so, belts make a great accessory. This is why ALBERTO is also presenting a series of fine models made from sustainably-derived Italian, French and German cowhides during the winter season. In addition to elaborately washed and oiled models in vintage look and finely crafted, elastic woven leather belts, extra thick 4-millimetre velvety belts made of brushed suede have also been added to the range. Perfect for jeans: A used-look belt with brass buckles. The highlight of the belt collection is a model made of bull leather with ultra-soft finishing and pure vegetable dyeings in Cognac, Whiskey, Grey, Military, Black and a deep Testa di Moro. The text and image material is available for downloading at:
