Hard-hitting team play
Special pants for a special sport – ALBERTO is outfitting the men’s national hockey team
New sporting event, new partnership: the German men’s hockey team will be wearing sport pants from Alberto for the first ever FIH Pro League tournament. While the “Honamas” face off against top teams at the sporting venue in Mönchengladbach, ALBERTO, as the team outfitter, will be demonstrating its exceptional skills when it comes to producing smart pants. Every fibre of the “Revolutional” pants which the players will be wearing off-match during the four-year competition meets stringent requirements. These style-conscious pants are part of ALBERTO’s “Urban Traveller Collection” and have everything that active people expect from their pants: they are light, durable and crease-free. The functional, high-quality jersey knit is breathable, quick-drying and guarantees maximum freedom of movement, affording the players the best possible support as they prepare for their thrilling matches. Thanks to the 360° bi-stretch fabric, superb fit and immaculate tailoring, the successful athletes wearing these pants will cut a fine figure visually as well as on the pitch. This means they will be on the ball in both senses of the word. The “Honamas” will be outfitted in the ALBERTO concept store, the innovative retail outlet in Mönchengladbach’s Hindenburgstraße, where the team will be presented with innovative, comfortable pants for the phases before and after the matches. With the motto “Function meets fashion meets fun”, the store guarantees an exciting shopping experience for first-class fashion. Which brings us back to the FIH Pro League: a top-level tournament featuring the crème de la crème of players. And this at ALBERTO’s company headquarters. Managing Director Marco Lanowy: “We are delighted to be supporting the hockey team as sponsors and outfitters, especially as the tournament is taking place practically on our doorstep in our hockey-mad city.” And possibly beyond: if the men's national hockey team manages to qualify for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, ALBERTO’s pants competence will be crossing the world once again.
